Desert Rose

My entry for ~Chikara-Sama's AVA tournament [link] ~! My theme this time was to draw a picture that goes to the song "Desert Rose" by Sting. I had a lot of fun with this one! x3

I decided to depict my Fennec Fox character, Sunara, as a travelling Arabian girl, looking of into the distance standing alongside her trusty companion, a camel. To me, the song "Desert Rose" gives off an air of foreign beauty like Gypsies of Arabian time. For more effect, I added a desert rose over her ear.

You might not have seen Sunara (pronounced "soon-arr-uh") yet, this is because very few people have seen her since she is a special character in my work-in-progress graphic novel story. So I will use this deviation as a place to introduce her the first time, but only with a little bit of info so she remains a mystery! Sunara is not normally anthro, instead she is a sort of fox guardian goddess that either appears as a form encased in light or as her feral form, since my novel is about animal characters (not anthros!)
